Metadata and download option

sigplus can extract image metadata stored in IPTC headers. In the examples below, click the small icon to display metadata in a pop-up window, or the download icon to save the image to your computer. (Downloading images is permitted for testing purposes only, see copyright notice at bottom.)

Should there be no labels.txt that explicitly assigns image labels, sigplus can extract the IPTC fields Headline and Title, and use them as the image caption, or in their absense, it can display the filename as the image caption. The following example illustrates this.

A semi-transparent box overlaying preview images is not the only way to present image captions. The following example illustrates how to use the parameter imagecaptions to position the caption below the images:
